Hannah Jones
Project Officer
Chemical and Biomedical Engineering Student
Hannah is currently completing a Bachelor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Honours at The University of Sydney. Growing up in Mudgee, before moving to Port Macquarie, she has developed many connections with regional communities, enabling her to develop a passion for regional improvement. Through the construction of an automated robot that addressed the inequities faced by regional soccer players, Hannah has had the opportunity to compete and present at a range of engineering competitions and conferences; including the International Science and Engineering Fair. Her desire to contribute to positive change in regional communities, has also stemmed from their support of her soccer pursuits, providing her opportunities to compete with the Junior Matilda's at the u17s Asian Cup, and more recently play with the Young Matilda's in New Zealand friendlies. Through her university degree, Hannah has had opportunities to complete projects and present at internal conferences in relation to circular economy models, sustainability promotion, and the future potential of batteries for clean energy storage.
