Sam Dominello

Sam is a 3rd generation farmer and has been specialising in greenhouse horticulture for decades. He is passion driven about greenhouse horticulture, with the environmental advantages, of less water and chemicals to grow crops. Sam’s nursery has been recognised for its environmentally friendly and sustainable practices, receiving the Fresh Awards 2016 -2017 and 2021 for best Flower Grower. He is a Quarantine Approved Person and has been trained to identify and control bio-security risks on farms.  With climate change happening and world population growing, food security is becoming a big issue and greenhouse horticulture will become more and more important. He is the vice president of the Central Coast Plateau Chamber of Commerce, which he has been involved in for over 20 years.
