Our Role

The Stable Group played a significant role in providing support to The Manpower Group Australia's three Defence-related contracts. This support included offering strategic guidance, influencing stakeholders, making introductions, providing coaching, fostering innovation, and facilitating scale and transformation to the Project Leaders within Manpower Australia. 

Lieutenant General (Retired) Ken Gillespie, as a part of the Defence recruitment contract coaching, developed a coaching program and delivered session to the COO of Defence Recruitment and other team members, enhancing their capabilities, and understanding. 

A key segment of The Stable Group's work involved The Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) Recruitment Services acquisition of a new contract. The Stable Group supported the Manpower Executive Group Sponsor in achieving this outcome by developing a project plan, arranging client meetings, identifying collaboration partners to increase the likelihood of winning the DVA contract, offering guidance, preparing briefing papers and speaking points for the Executive Sponsor before client meetings, reviewing meeting intel, and assisting with the writing and final review of Manpower's proposal to DVA. 

Jillian Kilby ran workshops with Manpower Group to develop their offerings to DVA and provided coaching to the internal team on designing innovative solutions for client satisfaction. The workshops took into consideration the professional working environment of The Manpower Group, further development of the transition contract, stakeholder engagement involving the Stable, "red teaming" proposed solutions, strategy development, and implementation. The Stable Group also collaborated with and made recommendations for improvements to their Defence Industry Plan and Strategic Communications Plan. Furthermore, The Stable Group facilitated team building and thought leadership collaboration exercises and provided expert industry advice. 

The execution of these tasks to a high standard empowered Manpower Group's leadership team to achieve their desired result in the Defence recruitment project.
