Review of Regional Infrastructure in NSW

In 2017, The Hon. Gladys Berejiklian, Premier and The Hon John Barilaro, Deputy Premier, announced the appointment of Lieutenant General (Retd) Ken Gillespie as the NSW Regional Infrastructure Coordinator. Supported by Don Murray and other members of The Stable, Ken was charged with conducting a review of the delivery of Regional Infrastructure. He was asked to make recommendations to streamline government processes to reduce project approval timelines and decrease administrative effort and costs. He was also asked to examine reform in identifying, prioritising, assessing, procuring and delivering infrastructure projects.
