Transport for NSW Road Funding Model

Description

The Stable Group commenced collaboration with Transport for NSW in January 2023 to establish a sustainable funding arrangement between the NSW Government and local governments for a minimum period of five years. The primary objective of the project was to facilitate the renewal and upgrade of regional and local roads. The Stable Group aimed to create a minimum viable product (MVP) forming the basis of a digital platform that would continuously gather and analyse data. The MVP's effectiveness was tested in Dubbo, Parkes, and Narromine. Prior to developing the MVP, The Stable Group reviewed State and Federal Government Road Funding Programs, the One Network approach, and the TfNSW funding discussion paper.
